Hello, and welcome to Fairy Orbs

My name is Moneca, and I am the artist behind FairyOrbs.ca.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Theatre, I bring a storyteller’s heart to my work. I have always been fascinated by the way art can hold a memory, express something words cannot, and connect us to the people and moments that matter most.

Through years of artistic study, prayer, contemplation, and reflection, I have come to appreciate the profound beauty of stillness, intention, and the human capacity for hope. My faith has taught me that peace is not something we manufacture within ourselves, but a gift we can receive as we turn our hearts toward God.

Each Fairy Orb is handcrafted as a small work of art and a tangible keepsake. Rather than claiming to possess supernatural or healing properties, my hope is that each piece can serve as a meaningful reminder of something precious: a person you love, a prayer, a Scripture passage, a memory, a milestone, or simply the beauty of God’s creation.

My own artistic journey has been shaped by vivid childhood memories, imagination, storytelling, and a deep appreciation for wonder. These experiences continue to inspire the stories and symbolism found throughout my work.

I am also a former Reiki Master who returned to the Catholic faith following a profound encounter with the Blessed Mother. That experience led me to reconsider my understanding of spirituality and ultimately brought me back home to the Catholic Church.

Today, I no longer view Reiki or energy-based practices as a spiritual path or source of healing. My faith has taught me to place my trust in God rather than in energies, vibrations, or techniques. My previous experiences have nevertheless given me a deeper appreciation for the importance of quieting the mind, making space for prayer, and accompanying others with compassion.

My intention is always to honour God and to treat each person I encounter with dignity, compassion, and humility.

When you choose a Fairy Orb, you are choosing a handcrafted piece of art created with care and intention. The Orb itself does not possess supernatural powers, nor can it heal, protect, manifest an outcome, or replace prayer, medical care, or the sacraments.

Instead, it can become a physical reminder of what your heart wishes to remember.

A custom Fairy Orb is particularly meaningful because it allows me to translate your story into art. Whether you are honouring a loved one, commemorating a significant moment, expressing gratitude, remembering someone who has passed away, or celebrating your faith, I approach each commission as a storyteller—carefully considering the symbols, colours, imagery, and details that make your story uniquely yours.

My hope is that when you hold or wear a Fairy Orb, it brings to mind something beautiful and meaningful. Perhaps it reminds you to pray. Perhaps it brings a loved one to mind. Perhaps it reminds you of a season of your life, a promise you made, a Scripture verse that carried you through a difficult time, or the beauty of God’s creation.

The meaning is not contained within the glass.

It lives in the story, the memory, the love, and the intention behind it.
